Dear Sirs,
This refers our Circular
No.APNS/2008/59-A dated November 11,
2008 wherein we had requested you to provide the statement of
outstanding dues against Federal Government Departments. The statements
received were forwarded to the Press Information Department for payment.
However, due to problems relating to documentation, the dues could not be
cleared in full.
In this respect, the APNS Office
Bearers have recently held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed
Yousuf Raza Gillani and requested him to take urgent measures for payment of
the dues. The Prime Minister has also been requested to advise the concerned
departments to clear the dues of advertising agencies up to June 30, 2010 as member publications are facing
financial crunch for non-payment of their bills relating to government
advertisements by advertising agencies.
We therefore, request you to
kindly send us the statement of your outstanding dues against the Federal
Government Ministries / Departments relating to print media only as
per following format :
