TO: THE PUBLISHERS OF ALL MEMBER PUBLICATIONS.
Dear Sirs,
We have to inform you that the meeting of the Annual General Council of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society for the year 2010-2011 is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. The agenda for the above meeting is enclosed herewith.
You are hereby requested to either attend the above meeting personally or exercise the privilege of sending your representative. The said representative should not be below the status of a senior Executive regularly performing managerial or executive functions for your publication. The authority letter should be duly signed by you with stamp of the publication, on the prescribed form meant for proxies (enclosed herewith). The authority letter should also bear the attested signature of the proxy holder and sent to the undersigned latest by March 26, 2010. It may kindly be noted that only proxies found to be complete in all respect will be allowed to participate in the meetings of the General Council. Please note that if the proxy issuing authority is present in the meeting, the proxy issued would stand withdrawn.
The Publications, which in spite of previous reminders have not remitted the Annual Subscription, and / or other dues, if any, are requested to arrange to affect the same in the shape of Pay Order/ Demand Draft latest by 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 failing which they will not be allowed to attend the General Council Meeting.
N.B. If any member desires to discuss any matter in the Annual General Meeting, the proposal for the same should be sent to the Secretariat latest by Friday, March 26, 2010.
