Sub:    Termination of Membership.

Dear Sirs,

The Annual General Council (AGM) of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society at its meeting held on March 31, 2010 noted that the following  publications were not providing complimentary copies of  their publications for over six months in contravention of Article 3(1)(ii-a) and Article 11 of Articles of Association of All Pakistan Newspapers Society.

1. Weekly Rawish, Rawalpindi
2. Fortnightly The World Trade Review, Islamabad.
3. Daily Wifaq, Rawalpindi
4. Daily Wifaq, Rahimyar Khan
5. Daily Mashriq, Hub
6. Monthly Raabta, Karachi

The AGM also noted that the following publications have not paid the annual subscription for the year 2010: 

1. Daily Evening News, Karachi
2. Monthly Fashion Mag, Karachi
3. Fortnightly Fasla, Karachi
4. Monthly Jawab Arz, Lahore
5. Weekly Paigham-e-Sindh, Mirpurkhas
6. Monthly Subh-e-Nau, Karachi
7. Fortnightly The World Trade Review, Islamabad

In pursuance to the decision of the General Council,  a 10 days notice under Article 12 was issued to the above defaulter publications. Since no positive response received,  the above publications are hereby  terminated with immediate effect.

All member publications and accredited advertising agencies are hereby requested to delete the above members from the list of APNS membership.
